InteriorLab ("InteriorLab", "we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered interior design application that allows users to capture photos of their rooms, generate redesign concepts, and visualize different interior styles using artificial intelligence.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use InteriorLab’s websites, mobile apps, and services (together, the "Services").

2. Personal data we collect
A. Information you provide
- Account & profile: name, email address, password or auth token (if creating an account), profile preferences.
- User Content: Photos or videos of rooms you upload or capture via the camera, floor plans, and text descriptions of your design preferences.
- Support & feedback: messages, attachments, and bug reports you send to us.
B. Device Permissions
To provide our core features, we may request access to:
- Camera: To allow you to take photos of your space directly within the app for analysis and redesign.
- Photo Library: To allow you to upload existing photos of your rooms.
C. Automatically collected information
- Device & app diagnostics: app version, device type, OS, crash logs, performance metrics.
- Usage data: feature use, designs generated, styles preferred, and interaction with app features.
3. How we use personal data
Core service delivery
- Process your room photos using AI to generate interior design visualizations and suggestions.
- Save and organize your design projects and generated images.
- Personalize your experience by recommending styles based on your preferences.
- Sync your projects across devices (if applicable).
Communications & Security
- Send service and transactional emails (e.g., password resets, updates).
- Detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents and abuse.
- Enforce terms and comply with legal obligations.

4. AI Processing and Content
We use artificial intelligence technologies to provide our design services. When you upload a photo, it is processed by our AI models (hosted by us or reputable third-party providers) to analyze the room structure and generate new design variations.
Model Training: We may use anonymized or aggregated data to improve our services. However, we do not use your personal photos to train public generative AI models without your explicit permission. Where we use third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Stable Diffusion providers), we opt out of data training where available to protect your privacy.
5. Data retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active; deleted or anonymized upon request or after prolonged inactivity.
- User Content (Photos/Designs): retained to allow you to access your history and designs. You can delete specific projects or photos at any time within the app.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers: cloud hosting, AI inference providers (to process your photos), analytics, and error monitoring.
- Legal/disclosure: to comply with law, enforce terms, protect rights, safety, and security, or in a business transfer (merger, acquisition).
